All About Email

Become an email expert through this hands-on course. Learn how email works, how to email groups and manage your address book, send files, and open attachments.

Participants should have an existing email account, be familiar with basic internet and computer use, and are encouraged to bring their own laptops, iPads or tablets to class.

Android Tablets and Smart Phones

Gain confidence on your on your Android tablet or Android-based smart phone through this hands-on course. Learn how to personalize your device, use Google voice commands, connect to the Internet, connect with others through Facebook and social apps, and explore entertainment capabilities.

Participants must bring their own Android tablets or smart phones to class.

Gain confidence on your Apple iPad or iPhone through this hands-on course. Learn how to personalize your device, use Siri voice commands, connect to the Internet, connect with others through Facebook and social apps, and explore entertainment capabilities.

Participants must bring their own IPad or iPhone to class.

Learning About Spreadsheets

Learn the basics of how to use a Spreadsheet Program (such as Microsoft Excel). This hands-on program will help you understand the core concepts and terms, while you plan and develop a functional worksheet useful for addressing practical needs such as budgeting and information tracking.

Participants should be familiar with basic computer concepts, and are encouraged to bring their own laptops to class.

Working with Digital Photos

Get organized to do more with your digital photos. Topics include: how to take better pictures, setting up and organizing a photo library, basic photo editing, printing photos, and creative photo projects. Content is tailored to the specific interests and experience levels of the class.

Participants must bring their own digital camera, be familiar with using Microsoft Windows, working with files and folders, and have a basic knowledge of photography. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop to class.

Working with Windows

Improve your confidence and expertise in working with Microsoft Windows. This hands-on course will teach you how to use any recent version of Windows. Includes topics on the Windows desktop, using multiple windows, using the Windows clipboard, and organizing your information files and folders.

Participants should be familiar with basic computer use and concepts and are encouraged to bring their own laptops to class.
