Note:  We are offing several new courses this Fall, including Taming Facebookand Manage Investments with Google Spreadsheets.  There is a limit of 8 people per class so sign up soon to guarantee your spot!

Android Tablets and Phones - Level 1

Gain confidence on your Android tablet or phone through this hands-on course. Learn how to organize your device, explore basic features and use practical apps.

Participants must bring their Android tablet or phone to class.

Manage Investments with Google Spreadsheets (New)

Google Spreadsheets provides up to date investment information and powerful tracking and charting features to help you focus and manage your investments. You will learn to use these capabilities to build your own personal portfolio management tool.

Participants should be familiar with spreadsheets and basic computer use and concepts and must bring their own laptops to class.

Taming Facebook (New)

Facebook is a great way to stay in touch with friends and family. The problem is that it’s often difficult to separate the noise from what's really important.  This hands-on course will help you get Facebook under control. We will explore how to manage your Newsfeed, using lists and private groups, and guidelines for effective communications.

Participants should be familiar with basic computer and Internet use and bring their laptop, iPad or tablet to class.

Using Windows 10

Windows 10 has arrived and is loaded with new capabilities. This hands-on course will help you get the most out of Windows 10. It covers on-line features like OneDrive, Microsoft's new Cortana voice interaction, The Edge Internet browser, search capabilities, customizing your Windows experience, and other changes relative to previous versions.

Participants should be familiar with basic computer use and concepts and are encouraged to bring their own Windows 10 (or Windows 10 capable) laptops to class.

Working with Digital Photos

Get organized to do more with your digital photos. Topics include: how to take better pictures, setting up and organizing a photo library, basic photo editing, printing photos, and creative photo projects. Content is tailored to the specific interests and experience levels of the class.

Participants must bring their own digital camera, be familiar with using Microsoft Windows, working with files and folders, and have a basic knowledge of photography. Participants are encouraged to bring their own laptop to class.

Become an email expert through this hands-on course. Learn how email works, how to email groups and manage your address book, send files, and open attachments.

Participants should have an existing email account, be familiar with basic internet and computer use, and are encouraged to bring their own laptops, iPads or tablets to class.

Learn the basics of how to use a Spreadsheet Program (such as Microsoft Excel). This hands-on program will help you understand the core concepts and terms, while you plan and develop a functional worksheet useful for addressing practical needs such as budgeting and information tracking.

Participants should be familiar with basic computer concepts, and are encouraged to bring their own laptops to class.
